No — once your skip has been placed, it must stay in that position until collection. Moving a skip yourself can be dangerous and may damage your property or the skip. If you need it repositioned, please contact us and we will arrange this for you.

If your skip is placed on private land, such as your driveway or garden, no permit is required. If it needs to go on a public road or pavement, you will need a council permit. We can help arrange this for you — just let us know when booking.

Skips and waste bags can be used for building waste, household waste, garden waste, scrap wood and metal. Items such as fridges, freezers, computer monitors, paint, oil, tyres, asbestos and clinical waste require specialist disposal and may incur an extra surcharge. If you are unsure, give us a call and we will talk you through what can and cannot be disposed of safely.

It depends on your project. We offer a range of sizes from 2 yard to 8 yard skips, as well as 1 ton waste bags for smaller jobs. A 2–4 yard skip suits most home clearances and small renovations, while larger builds may need a 6 or 8 yard skip. Yes — same day delivery is available across Stockport and Greater Manchester. Book before 11am and we can deliver your skip the same day, subject to availability. For next-day delivery, simply select your preferred date when booking online or call us to arrange.
